A rare thing these days: to see a street named after a Soviet soldier... Was Politajew (Politayev) a private or a general? Did he liberate the town or died walking on a mine? No one seems to know - at least not in the Polish-language internet - so if you know someone who fought in the Нижне-Силезская наступательная операция (Lower Silesian Offensive, operacja dolnośląska), do ask them about Politayev from Wleń...
